Saturday 31st March – Scottish National 4 & 6 Stage Road Relays, Livingston
Well done to the six men and eight ladies that took part in Saturday’s Road Relay Championships. This was the first time that we have had two ladies teams taking part in this event although it was disapointing that a club of our size could only muster up one men’s team.

EDINBURGH FORTHSIDE HALF MARATHON – ASSISTANCE REQUIRED
The 2nd Edinburgh Forthside Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 1st April from Ocean Terminal in Leith. Last year, fifteen of our club members marshalled a section of the route in the Cramond / Silverknowes area which is about the halfway point on the course. The race organisers have contacted us enquiring if we will be able to provide assistance again this year. The race starts at 9am and assistance would be required from about 8am to 10.30am unless the last runners pass. All helpers will receive a goody bag and possibly a few other bits and bobs. If you are willing to help out could you please email Iain Taylor at carnegie.harriers@virgin.net who will co-ordinate the Carnegie marshalling team. Several of our club members have entered the race and I’m sure they would appreciate our support. At the moment eight members have volunteered to assist and further volunteers would be appreciated.
