Superb Marathon win for Ros in Reykjavik
Congratulations to Carnegie’s Ros Alexander who put in a superb performance to place 1st lady at Saturday’s Reykjavik Marathon in Iceland. Ros covered the 26.2 mile course in 3.00.58 placing 17th overall and leading lady in a field of 552 finishers. The race which started and finished in Iceland’s capital city saw the runners cover many miles of the course in the surrounding countryside with a blustery head wind over the closing stages. Ros’s time is a new club record in the F35 age group category.
