Pauline battles hard at 24 hour World Championships
Pauline Walker battled hard against the elements when representing Great Britain in the 24 hour World Championships in Drummondville, Canada. If running for 24 hours wasn’t hard enough the runners had to endure 92% humidity and several thunderstorms throughout their run around the clock.
Nikki May stormed to another personal best clocking an impressive 37.30 placing 3rd lady at Sunday’s Scottish Gas 10K Road Race in Granton, Edinburgh. Duncan McGougan also ran well clocking 34.43. With this event being part of the NavyBlue Scottish Road Racing Grand Prix both Nikki and Duncan will have collected valuable points in the series.
