Great weather for a race

Carnegie Harriers Tommy Lawrence was in top form at Sunday’s Dunfermline City Half Marathon clocking an impressive 1.16.25 finishing 8th overall and 1st local runner for the 5th year in succession!

Saturday 7th March – Kings Buildings 5 Mile Road Race, Edinburgh

Kings Buildings ‘5′ win for David Simpson
Carnegie’s David Simpson followed up his Cupar 5 success with another strong run at the Kings Buildings 5 Mile Road Race in Edinburgh on Saturday. David won the race clocking an impressive 25.30 around the hilly course finishing 13 seconds clear of Thomas Fay (Glasgow Uni) who timed at 25.43 with Shettleston’s Paul Sorrie finishing 3rd in 26.19. Carnegie’s Kieran Morgan placed 113th in the field of 192 finishers in 36.21.
