The Carnegie Harriers Running Club Awards Evening took place on Sunday evening at the King Malcolm Hotel, Dunfermline and was very well attended by our club members. The prizes for our Road and Hill Running Grand Prix’s were presented along with the club’s Special Awards.

Fiona, Pauline and Gail planned for a wee run up Ben Lomond on Saturday. They opted for plan B as the weather was a bit grim, low cloud, freezing gale force winds and sleet.

A record field of 34 runners took part in Saturday’s Kelty Families Initiative Blairadam Trail Race which is organised by club member Jock Hargreaves. The planned 10K route had to be shortened to just over 8K due to re-construction of a forest path but this didn’t deter the enthusiasm of those taking part.

Ladies cross country

An excellent turnout of twenty eight Harriers made the short trip to the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy to contest Sunday’s East District Cross Country League fixture.
