On Saturday 6th October, 2007 the 3rd Coniston PUMA trail race ( more like a category A hill race in disguise ) took place in the spectacular setting of Coniston which is in the heart of the Lake District.  The weather was truly unbelievable for October and we were basking in temperatures of over 16 degrees.  The race started at 12 mid day with over 550 starters.  The race had been increased from 14k to 15k this year so it made a PB more of a challenge.
