Sunday 13th June – Carnegie Harriers Running Club Picnic in the Park

As you will all be aware the Dunfermline Half Marathon takes place at 11am on Sunday 13th June from Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline with loads of Carnegie members expected to take part. Hopefully the sun will be shining and it is planned to have a ‘Picnic in the Park’ after the race on the main lawn in front of the Glen Pavillion. The area where we plan to meet will be easily recognisable as the club flag will be placed there. Hopefully all those taking part in the race along with friends and family will be able to come along and enjoy some picnic food, coffee and cakes after the run.

CURRY NIGHT – ASHIQ’S INDIAN RESTUARANT, BRIDGE STREET, DUNFERMLINE

A curry night has been arranged after club training for 8.15pm this Tuesday evening, 25th March, at Ashiq’s Indian Restuarant, 27 Bridge Street, Dunfermline. (Opposite the City Hotel). Please feel free to invite your family or friends. A buffet is available and simply come along for around 8.15pm.

Super Elvis Social Night – Saturday 7th June 2008

We have booked local singer / comedian Linton Osborne for Saturday 7th June and the social night will be held within the function suite at Pitreavie Golf Club, Dunfermline.

Linton performs an incredibly funny cabaret act titled ‘Super Elvis’ and tickets will be available soon. There will also be a disco and buffet. There will be 100 tickets available and we encourage all member, friends and families to make every effort to come along.
