Hi
I am a 56 year old male who has recently lost three stone and started running to help the weight loss and to get fitter.
Usually manage 5 miles 2 or 3 times each week.
Am beginning to enjoy it.
Thought I might join you for one of your training sessions prior to deciding about joining the club, if that's ok.

Do I need to bring anything special.

Thanks a lot ..... Trevor.

returning to running after 7/8 years off. Used to run half marathons and a couple of full marathons but stopped running to concentrate on judo coaching . Still reasonably fit (for 46) due to cycling to and from work and judo but missing the buzz of running. have only ran about 4 times since deciding to give it a go again and only about 3 miles or so. Never been in a club before but feel i could maybe do with the support of a club to help me get back into it. Are youre tues/thurs session suitable for someone doing as few miles as me( at the moment)

Neil - very well done indeed. Now you are ready for anything that the weather sends us!

Perhaps you could give me some guidance on how an unfit person will be able to pick up the Big 50 Challenge that I have put down on behalf of my daughters Trust - and run the BUPA 10km run on 3.5.2010 without killing myself!

Have a great Christmas & New Year
