Members of Carnegie Harriers have again been in action in Ultra running events across the Globe.

Well done to Richie Cunningham who completed the 166k, 9000m Ultra Tour Du Mont Blanc at the weekend.

Andy Symonds finished 2nd in the TransRockies Run over six days in the Colorado Rockies.

In two weeks time we have a few Harriers taking part closer to home in the Perth Ultra Festival on 13th / 14th September. Pauline Walker, Fiona Rennie and Lynne Kuz are all contesting the 24 hour race while Gail Murdoch and Stevie Ogg take part in the 100K race. The 24 hour event starts at 8am while the 100K starts at 10am. Both races follow a 2.68km course around North Inch in Perth next to the Bell’s Sports Centre.

Our club are also entering a team(s) in the 12 hour mixed relay which starts at 8pm. If you would like to take part in the 12 hour relay then please email Fabienne Thompson before 4th September at fabienne.thompson<AT>btinternet.com

We are also encouraging club members to make the short journey to Perth to provide encouragement to those taking part.
